summer grotesque
Summer Grotesque is a revived typeface based on the 19th-century Seven Lines Grotesque by Thorowgood (1834). As part of the Grotesque type classification, one of the earliest sans serifs, it is known for its bold, geometric shapes. In this project, Thorowgood Grotesque was scanned, traced, and made into a new typeface named Summer Grotesque. This revival captures a vintage summer vibe, blending the historical essence of Grotesque with a fresh, nostalgic feel.
